Welcome to Lake County! Located along the shores of Lake Michigan, there are lots of exciting things to do. Lindenhurst is centrally located to the north, surrounded by North Chicago, Waukegan, Gurnee, Antioch, Grayslake, Zion, Lake Bluff, and Lake Forest.
S.T.U.D.Y.S. Ministries Christian Academy is located in Lindenhurst, putting our school in an ideally convenient location. Our students represent a vast area and several area churches.
Relocation, there are many moving parts as families transition their lives to somewhere new. We are especially sensitive to our nation's military families. Many of the families associated with SMCA are prior military and represent well over 100 years of service. We hope to make one decision a little easier by finding a school community that excites, encourages and understands, and can fully welcome you to life Northern, IL.
History
S.T.U.D.Y.S. Ministries LLC was founded in 2014 and a school envisioned in early 2015. In 2020 S.T.U.D.Y.S. Christian Academy of Lindenhurst officially launched in honor of Don and Jan Arnold - Stalwart Stewards of the Kingdom of God. The school began by accepting grades Kindergarten through 8th grade during the school year 2020-2021. While conducting in-person learning during our first academic year, the Academy safely navigated the Covid-19 pandemic to provide a safe and conducive learning environment.
