Quarter 1 has officially come to an end, and our Warriors absolutely crushed it!

We are so proud of all our students for their hard work and dedication. Today we celebrated those who made the Honors List, Dean’s List, and Chancellor’s List!

At SMCA, our mission is not only to provide our students with the best education possible, but also to help them be the hands and feet of Christ.

This week, our students had the privilege of packing Christmas boxes for children around the world—many of whom may not otherwise receive anything for the holiday season. It was such a joy to see their excitement as they thoughtfully filled each box, wrote heartfelt letters, and colored pictures to include.

We are so proud of our students for serving with love and compassion!

🫧 Bubble Making in LC1 🫧

Our LC1 students had an awesome opportunity to explore the science of bubbles! With excitement and curiosity, they learned how bubbles form and discovered the fun side of STEM through hands-on experimentation.

We are so thankful to Mr. G and Mrs. Green for bringing learning to life. Their creativity and dedication make science both engaging and memorable for our students.

✝️ Our First Chapel of the Year ✝️

Our first chapel of the school year was a beautiful time of worship and encouragement. Chapel is such a special opportunity for all of our students to come together to praise God and grow in His Word.

This week, we were blessed to be led by Mrs. Brown’s class. They shared a powerful message about God’s love and reminded us to give our best as we step into this new school year.

We also took time to celebrate student achievements, recognizing those who completed tests this month and earned awards. It was a wonderful way to honor both spiritual growth and academic success within our school community.

🍦 Ice Cream Social Day at SMCA 🍦

Every year, Principal Washington hosts a special Ice Cream Social for our students. This beloved back-to-school tradition brings all classrooms together to enjoy a sweet treat while building friendships across grade levels.

One of the best parts of the day is watching our older students lend a hand to the younger ones as they build their sundaes—it’s a beautiful reminder of the caring community we have at SMCA. The event is always filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of sprinkles!

We are grateful for Principal Washington for creating this joyful tradition that our students look forward to year after year. 💛
